The holiday of Sukkot is followed by an independent holiday called Shemini Atzeret. In Israel, this is a one-day holiday; in the Diaspora it is a two-day holiday, and the second day is known as Simchat Torah. This holiday is characterized by utterly unbridled joy, which reaches its climax on
Simchat Torah, when we celebrate the conclusion—and restart—of the annual Torah-reading cycle.

Here is one from one of our readers:
"Thank you so much for including me in this initiative. I am in tears and overwhelmed with emotions. We are indeed in the last days, and I can look forward to greater strides in Jewish Christian relation as more participate in removing the stones along the way, taking out the stumbling blocks that have marred our relationship. Thank you for your leadership! God bless you!"
