Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory. Proverbs 11:14

Dear ,
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Beshalach Exodus 13:17-17:16, pronounced b’-sha-LAKH, meaning ‘when he let go’, tells of The Children of Israel’s early adventures in the desert, before receiving God’s law at Mount Sinai. Pharaoh once more changes his mind about the Hebrews leaving, and sends his army out after them. God splits the sea, allowing the Israelites safe passage and drowning Pharaoh’s forces. All is not smooth, however,
and the Israelites challenge God several times as they encounter strife along the way.
Jews and Christians both revere the Scripture. But the Jews also revere what they call the Oral Torah. What is this Oral Torah exactly? Here is a good article that introduces it, by Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute. Please tell me what you think of it!
We continue a new series of Root Source Tours videos of locations and events travelling east from Jerusalem. In Part 4 we take a 360 degree spin on a hilltop near Wadi Qelt in the Judean Desert.
My friend Yehuda Poch posted an article on facebook, I thought some readers here would appreciate it. Read it below!
This week focus on Key points presented in Trump's "Deal of the Century" peace plan.
All Together Now. Last Shabbat I heard from my chavruta, Yiftach Keshet, a very clear assessment of the opening of last week’s Torah portion of “Va’era.” In looking at the same verses that we sighted last week (Shmot 6.5-9), it is clear that Hashem is coming to B’nai Yisrael and offering them to be taken out of Mitzraim and out of slavery to humans. Hashem puts forth for them the “Four Expressions of Redemption, “and indicates what each
of these stages will do for the nation of Israel. Unfortunately, the B’nai Yisrael did not listen to Moshe as he spoke to them about God’s plan. This inattentiveness stemmed from “a shortness of “ruach,” spirit or breath, and from hard work. It was that shortness of “ruach” which directly caused our further falling into continued, “avodah kasha,” hard work.
We sign off with a beautiful photo of a Flower.
Shalom,
Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell

Key points presented in Trump's "Deal of the Century" peace plan.
The plan sounds good. It appeals to our reason and logic. It appeals to our emotions. It sounds like a “win-win” for everyone. Is it the best plan ever presented to Israel? Yes. Is it the most favorable plan for Israel that has ever been presented? Yes.
But, according to the scriptures, is it God’s plan for Israel that the land be divided? NO!
