Dear ,
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Ki Teitzei Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19, covers an array of commandments for a variety of circumstances, from marriage and relationships to caring for the less fortunate. Some of the commandments pertain to man’s relationship with God, but most of them address the relationship between fellow humans. Like the rest of the book of Deuteronomy, this is part of Moses’s farewell address to the people, and in it he
touches on a number of events which happened during their sojourn in the desert, including the war with Amalek.
The LIST is a compilation of more than 800 atrocities committed by Christians, Christian nations, or in the name of Christ, against the Jews over the past two millennia. Never before has this amount of research been compiled into a single volume by Christians, for Christians.

Root Source explains the Ten Tribes, Two Houses, Commonwealth Theology, and the Ephraimite Movement. In part two, Al McCarn tells how he learned about Two House theology and explains exactly what it is in a very clear way to Root Source interviewer Bob O’Dell.
Benjamin Netanyahu became the first Israeli prime minister to deliver a public address in Hebron to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the 1929 Hebron massacre. The massacre resulted in 67 Jewish residents of Hebron being murdered in brutal Arab pogroms. Wednesday’s visit will be the third time that a sitting Israeli prime minister has arrived in the historic city, which served as the first capital of King David 3,000 years ago. He will be
joined by President Reuven Rivlin and the Speaker of the Knesset, Yuli Edelstein.

Make it Simple: This world of ours is so filled with challenges. Related to what I had written last week, if I constantly back into my decisions, if I choose not to acknowledge the challenges and the deep life lessons that come along with them, then perhaps I miss out on the clues, the messages which shape the true direction that I need to follow in order to arrive to the place where I have clarity as to why my soul was sent to this
world.
We sign off with a lovely comment from our student and a photo of a Dead Sea Happiness.
Shalom,
Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell

This week’s music: Yehudah Katz Loving Life
This world of ours is so filled with challenges. Related to what I had written last week, if I constantly back into my decisions, if I choose not to acknowledge the challenges and the deep life lessons that come along with them, then perhaps I miss out on the clues, the messages which shape the true direction that I need to follow in order to arrive to the place where I have clarity as to why my soul was sent to this world.
This week’s “Parsha of Shoftim” is filled with directives that cross over to our three most important relationships in life, as the Mahral teaches us, my relationship with myself, with my friends and with my Creator.
Our Student Jan enjoyed Root Source and had this to say.
