Dear ,
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion EIKEV Deuteronomy 7:12 – 11:25, carries a promise of Godly assistance in conquering the Land of Israel and blessings for following His commands. Moses warns the people that they will be punished for disregarding God’s word and reminds them of several incidents in which they had sinned, but mostly focuses on the good that God will bring them if they keep His laws. It also deals heavily with the bounty of
the Promised Land.
The LIST is a compilation of more than 800 atrocities committed by Christians, Christian nations, or in the name of Christ, against the Jews over the past two millennia. Never before has this amount of research been compiled into a single volume by Christians, for Christians.
What IS The LIST? It is a very detailed view through the window of time into the sins of our Church forefathers committed against the Jewish people throughout Christian history. The LIST is comprehensive, thoroughly researched, and almost overwhelming in its scope in revealing the depth and depravity of the sins of our Church forefathers.
Eliyahu Berkowitz takes us on a fast-paced learning spree. In Part 3 we compare prayer in Christianity and Judaism.
One of our more popular videos has been the interview we did with Aaron Lipkin on the Giant Footprints in the land of Israel. In Part 3, we discuss some of the other features surrounding the footprint. (11:39)
A multi-denominational delegation of about 100 Christians arrived in Israel last week to commemorate Tisha Be’av on Sunday, acknowledge Christianity’s persecution of the Jews, and pray for forgiveness. One of the leaders of the Nation’s 9th of Av initiative is Bob O’Dell, who is also the Christian co-founder of Root- Source,
a web-based initiative that facilitates Israeli Jews teaching Christians worldwide.
“Va’etchanan el Hashem ba’et hahi lemor “ ( Devarim 3.23), and , Moshe says, I begged and prayed to Hashem “at that time” saying, the following.
Many of the brilliant Chassidic commentaries wonder about the necessity of the words, “at that time.”
We sign off with a nice comment from our student and a photo of the Dead Sea Shoreline #3.
Shalom,

If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity: Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and
also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.” Leviticus 26:40-42
What is the “iniquity of their fathers”? This passage has often been used by Christians as a prayer of repentance for generational sin in the family bloodline. But could it be that there is another dimension to that phrase? Could it be that the message for today is that it is time to apply these verses over the Church at large?

Many of the brilliant Chassidic commentaries wonder about the necessity of the words, “at that time.”
Reb Levi Yitzchak- and The Slonimer Rebe emphasize that it was “davka,” exactly at that time. What was that time? “Moshe Rabeinu’s” prayers took place right after “B’nai Yisrael” were victorious in the war against the most wicked kings,” Sichon mlech Ha’emori and Og melech Habashan.” Something special was about to happen. Could this be not only the threshold of “B’nai Yisrael” entering “Eretz Yisrael,” but also the gateway to the final and absolute Geula,
redemption? Is this what Moshe was really praying for? Please let me join them, Moshe is begging, not for myself but for the sake of You God and all of Your children to finally bring an end to all of the suffering in this world.
Thank you for these short informative interviews!

Our Student Debra enjoyed Root Source and had this to say.
Debra said:
Thank you for these short informative interviews. There is so much diabolical misinformation on the internet about Talmud and the rabbis perpetuated through many centuries by Christian and other belief systems. I pray this will assist the process of correcting and dismantling stereotype.
