Dear ,
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Masei Leviticus 33:1-36:13, we learn of the journeys made by the Israelites in the desert and the plan for their arrival, including the division of the land. Finally, we return to the story of the daughters of Zelophehad, whose cousins are concerned that they may take their heritage and marry into another tribe.
On August 11, Gidon is leading a ceremony where an Israeli Government official will be receiving the list of names of the people that have signed the declaration to stand with the Jewish People. Please click on the painting or on the link below and sign the declaration to have your name included!
The LIST is a compilation of more than 800 atrocities committed by Christians, Christian nations, or in the name of Christ, against the Jews over the past two millennia. Never before has this amount of research been compiled into a single volume by Christians, for Christians.
What IS The LIST? It is a very detailed view through the window of time into the sins of our Church forefathers committed against the Jewish people throughout Christian history. The LIST is comprehensive, thoroughly researched, and almost overwhelming in its scope in revealing the depth and depravity of the sins of our Church forefathers.
In case you missed it, here is a single video that contains all three parts of Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell learning three parables of Luke 15 together.
Root Source Interviews pastor Trey Graham to hear how an evangelical pastor learned to love Israel. In part 3, we hear about how they became a Genesis 12:3 church and what that means today.
WASHINGTON — The US House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution on Tuesday that rejects the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel, after some Democrats expressedconcern last week that the measure could cause infighting within the party leading up to the 2020 election.
Mazal Tov! Mazal Tov! 26 years ago, this coming Monday Yom Sheni, 26 Tammuz, my wife Michelle, I and 2 children had the honor to “go up” to live in our Holy Land. What a blessing? What a gig? There is light everywhere you turn. And talk about family. Everywhere you go family abound. Beautiful new familial connections were made all the time. May we all be blessed to see that light clearly soon. So what better time than now to take stock of
where we’ve been and where we’re going to be.
We sign off with a lovely photo of the Dead Sea Sunset.
Shalom,
Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell

If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity: Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and
also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.” Leviticus 26:40-42
What is the “iniquity of their fathers”? This passage has often been used by Christians as a prayer of repentance for generational sin in the family bloodline. But could it be that there is another dimension to that phrase? Could it be that the message for today is that it is time to apply these verses over the Church at large?

Gidon Ariel weighs in on Three Parables of Luke 15
|
In case you missed it, here is a single video that contains all three parts of Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell learning three parables of Luke 15 together.
It started out when Bob O’Dell wrote a blog post on the Prodigal Son, which is a story originally told by Jesus in Luke 15. https://root-source.com/blog/studio-see-048-a-view-too-small-prodigal-son-story/
Gidon Ariel then suggested that the next time Bob comes to Israel to go on camera and read those passages together. So we did exactly that. I set up the camera, turned it on, and here is what happened! Gidon’s first idea was that we start at the beginning of Luke 15 with the parables of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin. Note that Gidon had never studied these three parables EVER in his life before this moment. (56:24)

Still Dreaming After all
of these Years?

Mazal Tov! So what better time than now to take stock of where we’ve been and
where we’re going to be.
When we came into the land 3200 years ago what were we thinking? Often times, we derive from the “p’shat ,” literal meaning, that we weren’t thinking much positive stuff at all. It doesn’t seem like we were dreaming. Rather the opposite. We seem scared of the physical uncertainty and perhaps, our “bitachon,” faith in God is waning. We don’t read much in the book of “Bamidabr” about B’nai Yisrael saying positive things.
