In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Pinchas Numbers 25:10-30:1, picks up where last week’s left off, in the aftermath of a plague. Phineas is blessed by God for his actions and a new census of the people is taken. The brotherless daughters of Zelophehad appeal to Moses for a share in the land of Israel and God delineates the laws of inheritance. God shows Moses the Promised Land, which he will never enter, and appoints Joshua as his
successor. The portion ends with a list of the daily and holiday sacrificial services.
All our lives we are waiting for a sign sent just for us. Wake up in the morning and ask aloud, what’s my job today? I ask myself over and over again throughout life, “what am I doing here? What was my soul sent down to do in this world? What is my one personal specific ‘fix-it” job?”

The LIST is a compilation of more than 800 atrocities committed by Christians, Christian nations, or in the name of Christ, against the Jews over the past two millennia. Never before has this amount of research been compiled into a single volume by Christians, for Christians.
Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell have a spontaneous, impromptu discussion about how they might do something that has probably never been done before — to come up with a way in which Christians and Jews, together, close out the last moment of the day-long fast on the 9th of Av in Jerusalem.

On September 26, the Sanhedrin will be hosting the first conference of the Organization of 70 Nations at which representatives of several nations will attend. The conference is to bring together all of the nations under the common belief in the sanctity of the Bible and the sanctity of all of mankind. The members of the organization agree to the sanctity of Jerusalem and the Temples, as well as the sanctity of God’s covenant established with all of mankind through
Noah. Every nation and ethnic group who sees itself as part of humanity and therefore accepts responsibility to join in a universal covenant of brotherhood of peace is invited to take their place in this Organization of 70 Nations.”
