Dear ,
This week, the weekly Torah reading Nasso Numbers 4:21-7:89, continues listing the responsibilities of the various families of Levites which began in Bamidbar. From there, it elaborates on several laws, including those pertaining to a husband who suspects his wife of infidelity, and the Nazirite who wishes to commit himself more fiercely to holiness. Finally, the portion ends with the contributions of the tribal leaders to the Tabernacle’s
dedication.
Root Source interviews Dean Bye, of the Aliyah Return Center. He never really thought about the Christian connection to Israel until he began to wrestle with the idea of what it means to be chosen. In part 1, he tries to answer the question: Who am I?

Jubilee Now FINAL EDITION!
|
In the summer of 2016, Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel published Jubilee NOW, to explore and delve deeply into the concept of the Jubilee, the Yovel, and try to understand what God means for us to know and do. This was especially important as, in contrast to Shemitah and Blood Moons, there are barely any books written for Christians about the Jubilee. God had left this field wide open so to speak, and in Jubilee NOW!, O’Dell and Ariel introduced this critical topic
to the world very seriously.
So much has changed since then, that we have published a FINAL EDITION of this book, with close to a hundred pages of new content, bringing this exciting topic up to date!
If you bought the first edition of Jubilee NOW, you will be fascinated to read this new edition.
And if you missed out on all the excitement, you will be FASCINATED by the research that is presented in Jubilee Now FINAL EDITION!

Studio See: 052 – Where Does it End?

Our series has reached its conclusion. We have explored many different aspects of the relationship between Christians and Jews.
The discipline of writing these columns has forced me to take a large number of swirling thoughts about this topic and bring them down to earth. When ideas are written down, they become transportable! I am indebted to Gidon Ariel for “reading for understanding and fact-checking” each of these articles in advance and helping me articulate these ideas, and for his patience with my Christian mindset. But I had to get these ideas out or I
felt I would burst. I think I now understand a tiny fraction of what Jeremiah felt:
I thought, “I will not mention Him, No more will I speak in His name”— But [His word] was like a raging fire in my heart, Shut up in my bones; I could not hold it in, I was helpless. Jeremiah 20:9 (TIB)
Israel Heads for Elections as Coalition Talks Fail by Ilse Strauss
|
Thursday, 30 May 2019 | It’s official. On September 17, Israelis will head to the polls for the second national election this year after attempts to form a majority coalition failed and the members of the 21st Knesset [Parliament] voted to dissolve—exactly one month after being sworn in.
This is the first time in Israel’s history that a Knesset is dissolved without forming a government. Local media called it a “shocking turn of events,” made all the more shocking by the fact that hardly anybody expected this particular outcome.
