Dear ,
This week, the weekly Torah reading Tazria, discusses various forms of tzara'at, skin maladies which are contracted as a result of engaging in forbidden gossip. Also discussed are certain garment discolorations which constitute "clothing tzara'at."
In the summer of 2016, Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel published Jubilee NOW. So much has changed since then, that we have published a FINAL EDITION of this book, with close to a hundred pages of new content, bringing this exciting topic up to date! Studio See 41. Today we continue the mini-series on topics in which I don’t believe we (as Christians) are totally wrong, but for which our current view is just too small. I believe our view of Torah is too small.
We recently introduced you to Yehudah Katz and the Ma’agal and some of their music. Today we share with you even more music and a discussion on the Jewish concept of elicha: on calling out to you.
Sherwood Burton, Jerusalem resident and follower of Yeshua, has lived as a photographer in the land of Israel for almost 40 years. Since late 2015 he has graciously allowed us to publish some of his favorite Israel photos from the Western Wall to the stark Negev to the flowers in the north, and all points in between.
We sign off with a lovely photo of an Inside Tower of David Citadel.
Shalom,
Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell

Weekly Portion:
Tazria – April 6 – 1st of Nisan, 5779
|
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Tazria, Leviticus 12:1–13:59, continues the discussion of the laws of tumah v’taharah, ritual impurity and purity.
In this week’s Haftara Prophets reading II Kings 4:42 – 5:19, describes how a prophet miraculously cured an Aramite general of his tzara’at ailment. The bulk of this week’s Torah reading discusses this skin disease and its related impurity.

Jubilee Now FINAL EDITION!
|
In the summer of 2016, Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel published Jubilee NOW, to explore and delve deeply into the concept of the Jubilee, the Yovel, and try to understand what God means for us to know and do. This was especially important as, in contrast to Shemitah and Blood Moons, there are barely any books written for Christians about the Jubilee. God had left this field wide open so to speak, and in Jubilee NOW!, O’Dell and Ariel introduced this critical topic
to the world very seriously.
So much has changed since then, that we have published a FINAL EDITION of this book, with close to a hundred pages of new content, bringing this exciting topic up to date!
If you bought the first edition of Jubilee NOW, you will be fascinated to read this new edition.
And if you missed out on all the excitement, you will be FASCINATED by the research that is presented in Jubilee Now FINAL EDITION!

Too Small: Torah
|
Today we continue the mini-series on topics in which I don’t believe we (as Christians) are totally wrong, but for which our current view is just too small. I believe our view of Torah is too small.
As is typical I would like to begin this discussion with a story.
What Makes a Great Business?
My wife was recently telling me about a local exercise studio that was sold and how much it had changed. On the surface it seemed as though nothing had changed! The building was exactly the same. The pricing hadn’t changed. But over time membership started dropping with some of the staff leaving as well. Why? We agreed the change had to be attributed to the new owner.
