And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every
generation, every family, every province, and every city; and that these days of Purim should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their seed. Esther 9:28

Dear ,
This week, the weekly Torah reading Vayikra, begins the third book of the Torah, Leviticus. Last week we completed the reading of the book of Exodus, which concluded with a description of the construction of the Tabernacle. This week's portion will provide a description of the various sacrifices – animal, fowl, and meal-offerings – offered by the priests in this newly constructed Sanctuary.
In the summer of 2016, Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel published Jubilee NOW. So much has changed since then, that we have published a FINAL EDITION of this book, with close to a hundred pages of new content, bringing this exciting topic up to date! Buy the new edition, for a limited time only up to SIXTY FIVE PERCENT OFF! Get it here.
Root Source interviews. Iry Ricci is the daughter of the mayor of Tel Aviv in 1948, Israel Rokach. Root Source interviews learns what it was like to be in Tel Aviv in Palestine during its transition to the modern state of Israel in 1948. Part 2 describes Tel Aviv during the years of the British Mandate.
Studio See 40. The last few columns dealt with sins in the Christian world. Today, we will begin a mini-series on topics in which I don’t believe we (as Christians) are totally wrong, but for which our current view is just too small. The first of these topics is: resurrection.
Rabbi Chaim Eisen unmasks God in the book of Esther.

Weekly Portion:
Vayikra – March 16 – 9th of Adar II, 5779
|
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Vayikra, Leviticus 1:1 – 5:26, God calls to Moses from the Tent of Meeting, and communicates to him the laws of the korbanot, the animal and meal offerings brought in the Sanctuary.
In this week’s Haftara Prophets reading Isaiah 43:21 – 44:23, starts with a rebuke to the Israelites for abandoning the Temple’s sacrificial service. Sacrifices are the dominant topic of the week’s Torah reading, too.
Happy studying!
Jubilee Now FINAL EDITION!
|
In the summer of 2016, Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel published Jubilee NOW, to explore and delve deeply into the concept of the Jubilee, the Yovel, and try to understand what God means for us to know and do. This was especially important as, in contrast to Shemitah and Blood Moons, there are barely any books written for Christians about the Jubilee. God had left this field wide open so to speak, and in Jubilee NOW!, O’Dell and Ariel introduced this critical topic
to the world very seriously.
So much has changed since then, that we have published a FINAL EDITION of this book, with close to a hundred pages of new content, bringing this exciting topic up to date!
If you bought the first edition of Jubilee NOW, you will be fascinated to read this new edition.
And if you missed out on all the excitement, you will be FASCINATED by the research that is presented in Jubilee Now FINAL EDITION!

Too Small: Resurrection
|
This entire series of columns covers topics that live at the intersection of the Christian world and the Jewish world. My goal in each column is to make many of you think about something that you may have never considered before!
The last few columns dealt with sins in the Christian world. Today, we will begin a mini-series on topics in which I don’t believe we (as Christians) are totally wrong, but for which our current view is just too small. The first of these topics is: resurrection.
In choosing this topic I feel like a sprinter who wears sprinting shoes to a marathon! In other words dear readers: you are not in for a slow start!
Teaching: Chaim Eisen – Unmasking God in Purim and Esther

“The best teaching I have ever heard on Purim,” said several of the students.
Rabbi Chaim Eisen speaks in February 2019 about the hiddenness of God in the Book of Esther and the Holiday of Purim. Thanks to Rabbi Chaim Eisen, Austin Brethren Church and Kormim Texas for permission to publish this teaching. (55:13)
