This week, the weekly Torah reading Haazinu, consists of a
poetic song delivered by Moses and Joshua. The song is a prophecy of what will transpire to the Jews – the good and the bad – until the end of times. The portion concludes with God commanding Moses to climb Mount Nebo, from where he would see the Promised Land before his passing.
Today we finish preparing your mind and heart to understand a
discovery that connects the New Testament to the Hebrew Bible in a new way than has ever been seen before.
On Rosh Hashanah imagine you are praying in the ancient Abuhav Synagogue in Tzfat. Pick a ripe pomegranate off the table of the Machane Yehuda shuk in Jerusalem. Hike the Arbel mountain at sunset. Gaze at the Land from atop Har Gilboa. These are just a few of the
scenes in this year’s calendar.
Studio See 019. Last time we gave you some things to consider. I wrote you a little letter and asked you “from where did I get my inspiration.” It was very easy to see that my little letter was inspired by Psalm 23.

Weekly Portion: Ha’Azinu – September 22 – 13th of Tishrei
|
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Ha’Azinu Deuteronomy 32:1 – 32:52, consists of a 70-line “song” delivered by Moses to the people of Israel on the last day of his earthly life.
In this week’s Haftara Prophets reading II Samuel 22:1 – 22:51, describes
the song King David composed in his old age, echoing the weekly Torah reading, where Moses delivers his parting words to the Jewish nation in song form.

Last time we gave you some things to consider. I wrote you a little letter and asked you “from where did I get my inspiration.” It was very easy to see that my little letter was inspired by Psalm 23.
Root Source began on Nissan 1 in 2014, and we “opened our doors” to the world on Tishri 1
(Rosh Hashana) 2014. A few days later, Gidon recorded one of our first free videos for newsletter subscribers, explaining the meaning and practice of Yom Kippur in 2014, that just happened to fall on Shabbat.
Yom Kippur falls on a Wednesday in 2018, but we still thought the video was a great reminder and background for this extremely important holiday. (11:10)

What a great
idea. Let us ask our God to bless and facilitate this idea if it be His will and with His Grace turn this awful day of Tisha B’av into a “Day of Joy” for Jews & Christians………for ever!
