This week, the weekly Torah reading Nitzavim, Moses gathers the
Israelites on the day of his passing to enter them into a covenant with God. He warns of the exile and desolation of the Holy Land that will result when Israel abandons God’s laws, but assures them that they will eventually repent, and God will then return His people to the Land. This portion also talks about freedom of choice and the mitzvah of teshuvah (repentance).

Congratulations! Gidon is a Grandfather!
Studio See 017. Cornelius was a Roman Centurion who became the first Gentile “Christian,” the first non-Jewish man to become a follower/disciple/believer in Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah. The Principle of First Mention says that one should pay special attention to the first occurrence of a word in the
Bible.
Only 1 more week to go! A Christian man who is not part of Root Source, but loves Israel and the Jews, has made a stunning discovery about the New Testament, that it seems has not been noticed by others modern history. Why is this discovery so important?

In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Nitzavim Deuteronomy 29:9 – 30:20, includes some of the most fundamental principles of the Jewish faith:
In this week’s Haftara Prophets

9th of Av 2018 – Presentation to Israeli Consul Gilad Katz in USA
|
The Tisha B’Av 2018 declaration and signatures are presented to Gilad Katz, the Israeli Consul General by Bob O’Dell of Root Source. Gilad Katz runs the Israeli Consulate over a region of six states including Texas.
After Bob tell’s his story, Gilad Katz makes a suggestion that Bob is not expecting to hear, resulting in his surprise response. Bob says that Gilad Katz might be speaking prophetically without realizing it, giving confirmation that the emerging idea of next year’s 9th of Av may well be right from the heart of God. (12:53)

Cornelius: Go and Do Likewise

Cornelius was a Roman Centurion who became the first Gentile “Christian,” the first non-Jewish
man to become a follower/disciple/believer in Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah. The Principle of First Mention says that one should pay special attention to the first occurrence of a word in the Bible.
Therefore, as per that First Mention principle, what can we who are non-Jewish believers learn from this first Gentile disciple? A great deal, if we see
him as a foundational example for all of us and do not fall into the trap of viewing him as a “special case.” Allow me to show what this story says to me, beginning in Acts 10:1
Countdown: 1 more Week to Something New

Only One Week to Go!
A Christian man who is not part of Root Source, but loves Israel and the Jews, has made a stunning discovery about the New Testament, that it seems has not been noticed by others modern history. Why is this
discovery so important?
Because this discovery could encourage Christians to STUDY TORAH and give them a NEW WAY to embark upon that
study.
