Tazria-Metzora, discusses various forms of tzara'at, skin maladies which are contracted as a result of engaging in forbidden gossip. Also discussed are garment discolorations which constitute "clothing tzara'at," and the symptoms and laws of "house tzara'at," indicated by certain stone discolorations. Following is a discussion of various ritual impurities, including the laws of the menstruating woman.

Hebrew calendar note: Starting with this coming Shabbat, the weekly Torah readings of Israel and the Diaspora will diverge for a number of weeks. In Israel they will read Shmini, while in the Diaspora they will be reading the portion of the 8th day of Pesach. We will be out of synch until the end of the Book of Leviticus and will be back in synch for the reading of Bamidbar, the start of the Book of Numbers. I
will be publishing according to the Israeli reading calendar.
Shalom, Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell Root Source Founders

Thank
you, Ken, for that insight! |
Our student Violet enjoyed
Root Source and had this to say. Violet
wrote: How true. I had never seen the Jewish people in quite that light before. But the fact that they spread the fact of 'one God' alone; that they have truly been the light of the world; that thrills me to no end. Thank you, Ken, for that insight.
