Bob and Gidon have just finished two weeks of intensive meetings in Israel, and we share a small bit of that activity with you here in this week's newsletter, and with God's help will share more over the next few weeks (or months! It's a LOT of material!)
This week, we bring a great lesson from

A prophetic story making the rounds on the Internet is about Judah Ben Samuel, a mystic rabbi active in the twelfth century who foresaw the coming of the Messiah. Or did he? We did some deep research, and the results might surprise you!

And last but certainly not least, we share a blog post from our visit with Yuli Edelstein, the Speaker of the Knesset, who wrote a letter of blessing for our book Israel FIRST! He was touched to
receive the book we presented him with, and we hope you will be touched to hear about this modern day hero.

We were so happy to visit David Ha'ivri, one of our top teachers at Root Source.
Besides being a great teacher, Israel advocate, and all around good guy:-), David is a farmer!

Bob just finished a whirlwind trip to Israel, and together with Gidon met a LOT of Israeli VIPs and made much progress in Root Source!

No sooner has Bob finished his Israel trip, Gidon is making a visit to his mom in New Jersey. The plan is for him to be with her from Sunday, January 31 until Sunday, February 7. If you are
near Clifton NJ or Manhattan, and would like to try to get together with Gidon or have him meet with your small or large group, please drop him an email at gidon@root-source.com. We'll see what we can do!

Yuli Edelstein is truly a modern day hero. His biography could have been the story of an Israelite judge.
Born in Ukraine, the former Soviet Union, Yuli was one of the best
known "Prisoners of Zion," sentenced to hard labor and exile to Siberian gulag for having the temerity to want to move to the Jewish homeland, israel.
God is stronger than the Soviet, though, and Yuli was released, to make Aliyah to Israel.
His story will make you shiver with love for the God of Israel!
Hi Bob, been catching up on the videos and WOW as always a great in-depth
explanation concerning the Shemitah. I too had been puzzled regarding dates and events that did not tie up with the sabbath year and this was because i now understand I was not taking a Hebrew/Israel perspective. How ignorant, arrogant and discrimatory of me. I pray that the Lord will forgive my pride and thank Him for showing me that Israel is indeed first. Israel is the sun in God's universe. Thank you Bob for clearly pointing this out to me.May God Bless you and show you favour in all that
you do.
