We shot scenes all over the city of Jerusalem on Wednesday
May 24th, 2017 on the 50th anniversary celebration of the reunification of Jerusalem. Watch these sights and sounds below!
This week, the weekly Torah reading Nasso, is the longest single portion in the Torah, containing 176
verses. The reading starts with a continuation of the Levite census and a discussion regarding their Tabernacle duties. The laws of the sotah woman and the Nazirite follow. The portion concludes with the Priestly Blessing and the offerings which the Tribal leaders brought in honor of the Tabernacle inauguration.

Weekly Portion: Nasso – June 3 – 9 Sivan |
In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Nasso Numbers 4:21 – 7:89, completing the headcount of the Children of Israel taken in the Sinai Desert, a total of 8,580 Levite men between the ages of 30 and 50 are counted in a tally of those who will be doing the actual work of transporting the
Tabernacle.
In this week’s Haftara Prophets reading Judges 13:2 – 13:25, describes the birth of Samson, a lifetime Nazirite. A condign Haftorah for this week’s reading, which discusses all the laws of the Nazirite.

We got an interview with Mayor Nir Barkat of Jerusalem on May 24th, the 50th anniversary of the Six Day War and the Reunification of Jerusalem, about the future of Jerusalem and his reaction to the Trump visit, including whether he was disappointed in
his decision not to move the US Embassy.
We look for Mayor Barkat to rise quickly in the Likud party. A number of people are predicting he will be Prime Minister of Israel some day.

He also claims that not only is Israel the Jewish homeland, and not only is it prophesied that the Jews should return, but that Israel is the only safe place for Jews in the long term.
