Dear ,

This week, the weekly Torah reading Ki Tisa discusses the census of the Israelites, the washbasin of the Tabernacle, the anointing oils for the priests and kings, the incense offering, and the Sabbath.

In this week's exclusive Root Source Interview, you will meet a man you have probably spent hours with, but never knew it! Eliyahu Berkowitz is a prolific writer for Breaking Israel News, having published over 800 articles on the subject of Redemption.

Gidon Ariel once again was invited for an interview in a radio program of our good friend and teacher David Ha'Ivri. Listen below.

Did you look at the giant footprint in last week's Part 2 Root Source Tours segment? In this final Part 3 video we hover over some of the more interesting features of the mysterious, giant Footprint near the Jordan River in Israel. We also look across the Jordan River valley to see the mountains of Moab.

Doug Hamp continues to interview Bob O’Dell and Gidon Ariel of Root Source. This time they talk about the Christian Turnoff.

We sign off with a lovely quote from a Root Source student about the Part 2 Footprint and include a beautiful picture of an Aerial View in Jerusalem.

Shalom,

Gidon Ariel and Bob O’Dell

Weekly Portion:

Ki Tisa – March 18 – 20 Adar

In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Ki Tisa Exodus 30:11 – 34:35, the people of Israel are told to each contribute exactly half a shekel of silver to the Sanctuary. Instructions are also given regarding the making of the Sanctuary’s water basin, anointing oil and incense. “Wise-hearted” artisans Betzalel and Aholiav are placed in charge of the Sanctuary’s construction, and the people are once again commanded to keep the Shabbat.

In this week’s Haftara Prophets reading I Kings 18:1 – 18:39, Elijah the Prophet demonstrates the worthlessness of the Baal, just as Moses chastised the Israelites for serving the Golden Calf, as discussed in this week’s Torah reading.

Happy studying!

"WOW! This is truly amazing!"

Our student Gabrielle Mary enjoyed our last blog post and had this to say.

Gabrielle Mary wrote:
WOW! This is truly amazing! I LOVE the new insights into the Jacob, my only son is called Jacob!/Israel O my goodness me, my soul is so glad to see this! Thank you! Every child of Israel needs to see this! God bless you as you reveal God's secrets to the fasting but ever more hopeful nation of Israel! God bless Israel! Amen. Am Ysrael Chai!!! :))) I would love to be able to visit this footprint and I can't wait for the day I can explore Israel. First, I want to know our True and Faithful Beloved, YHWH Almighty God, and His beloved Jerusalem, the heart of Israel.
