Root Souce News takes you to Tel Sheva, the site of ancient Be’er Sheva as well as the site of a key part of the Battle of Beersheva where New Zealanders took the key hill that made the Australian Light Horse Charge possible. This happened a hundred years ago in 1917.

Root Source News takes you to a historic event put on by Stand With Us on November 2, 2017 on the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration issued from the UK. (5:49)

Prime Minister Netanyahu makes heartfelt comments while Prime Minister Malcomb Turbull of Australia shares surprisingly good stories and inside information on the famous charge of the Australian Light Horse Brigade on October 31, 1917 in Beersheba in the Battle of Beersheva.  (21:16)

Bob O'Dell, Co-founder of Root Source was mentioned in an article from The times of Israel entitled "In big anniversary year for Israel, Christian Zionists see signs of the Messiah"

We are happy to share with you an article from our friends at ICEJ!

Weekly Portion:
Chayei Sara – November 11 – 22 Cheshvan

In this Shabbat’s weekly Torah portion Chayei Sara Genesis 23:1–25:18, Sarah dies at age 127 and is buried in the Machpelah Cave in Hebron, which Abraham purchases from Ephron the Hittite for four hundred shekels of silver.

In this week’s Haftara Prophets reading I Kings 1:1 – 1:31, describes an aging King David, echoing this week’s Torah reading, which mentions that “Abraham was was old, advanced in days.”

Happy studying!

Fifty years since the Six-Day War, 100 years since the Balfour Declaration, 150 years since Mark Twain first visited Palestine.

This has been a year of big Israel-related anniversaries. To the Jewish state’s most diehard Christian supporters, the barrage of milestones is not mere coincidence but rather a harbinger of prophecies being fulfilled.

Thank you Mr Gidon Ariel for understanding Christian views and beliefs. As all of us anticipated the coming of Messiah , we will all see who He really is. But most of all we Christians really really love the land of Israel.
