This coming Shabbat's Torah portion, read on Saturday, 1st of March, is Parashat Terumah. In this week’s reading of Terumah, G‑d commands the Israelites to build a Tabernacle. He provides the exact details of how to construct it, and how to build the different instruments and vessels which were used therein.

G‑d instructed Moses to accept contributions from the Israelites for the construction of a Tabernacle: “Let them make for Me a sanctuary, and I will dwell amongst them.” The needed materials: precious metals, dyed wools and hides, flax, wood, olive oil, spices and gems. G‑d then gave detailed instructions regarding the construction and dimensions of the Tabernacle and its vessels—starting with the Ark that housed the Tablets. The Ark was to be made of gold-plated acacia wood. Rings were to be attached to the corners of the Ark, wherein were inserted the poles that were used to transport the Ark.

Gidon's daughter Moriah is getting married! We are so excited!

Her fiance is an officer in the IDF Special Forces (Maglan unit).

Here is a translation of the invitation:

I will make a covenant of peace with them--it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will establish them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in the midst of them for ever. (Ezekiel 37: 26)

I found the one that my soul loves; I held on to him and would not let him go (Song of Songs 3:4)

Proverbs Chapter 5 verses 1-4

Gidon and Alan discussed Israel, Jewish identity, biblical themes, and the concept of fearing God, with Alan sharing insights from his church's "Hot Topics" series. They explored the meaning of fear in God's commandments, distinguishing between reverence and literal fear, and referenced biblical texts like the Ten Commandments and Leviticus. Alan planned to study the Book of Revelation, while Gidon shared his work on editing and translating a Holocaust survivor’s autobiography.
