Did you know that many authorities consider November 9, 1938, the beginning of the Holocaust, when thousands of Jewish synagogues, businesses, and homes where burnt, plundered and destroyed, over a hundred Jews were murdered, and the world stood silent? This horrific event, known as Kristallnacht, will live in infamy and must not be forgotten.

Once again, for the third year running, LightUptheChurch.org invites Christian churches, schools, businesses, and individuals to join hundreds of synagogues in Israel, the United States, and worldwide and participate in a night of remembrance, November 9th, 2024, by leaving the lights on throughout the night.

Stand in solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters. On November 9th, 2022 and 2023, synagogues and churches kept their lights on in response to the Nazis’ Night Of Broken Glass, Kristallnacht. The Nazis tried to extinguish the light of the Jewish people forever, we said “Never Again!” Will you and your church, business, or home group join us on November 9th, 2024, when we reenact this historic movement?
