Moses warned the Israelites not to be tempted by the idolatrous lifestyles of the Egyptians and the other sundry nations through which they had passed in the course of their travels. Shalom!

joyous occasion, we are launching the Root Source Bless Israel initiative, in which we will be showcasing Israeli charities for our Chrisitan students to learn about and support. Today’s world keeps us so preoccupied with the never ending buzz of the new, we tend to neglect the past. We do so at our own peril. This is part of a series that from a book of the same name: World Perfect: The Jewish Impact on Civilization, by Ken Spiro. Join Rabbi Steinsaltz as he continues to discuss his lesson on Yehoshua. Dr. Richard Booker and Gidon discussed the severe heat and drought in Texas, causing burn bans and wildfires, and the need for prayer for rain. Despite these hardships, Dr. Booker finds joy in feeding deer and observing hummingbirds during their migration. He also talked about a painting of the gates of the Old City in Israel and a photo of a Jewish man praying at the Western Wall. Lastly, he
explained the history of prayer shawls and how they have been adapted in modern times. Introducing Rabbi Ken Spiro, a world-renowned historian, author, and educator.
