Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, having heard about all the miracles that G‑d wrought for the Israelites, came from his native Midian to the Israelite desert encampment—bringing along Moses’ wife and two sons. Moses warmly greeted his father-in-law, and recounted to him all that G‑d had done to the Egyptians. Jethro thanked G‑d for all the miracles, and offered thanksgiving sacrifices.

Update: We have begun to distribute the funds raised in this campaign.

One of the goals of the campaign was raising the spirits of the women of Kfar Zoharim, a youth village in southern Israel, a small community where most of the husbands are mobilized.

Welcome to Lesson 3 of the 'Zion Mourning' course with Rabbi Yehudah Glick. This special series explores the book of Lamentations, providing insights into 'Personally Experiencing the Pain of Zion.'

Deception

In this lesson, Avi continues to explain "Who God is" and how the origins of Ishmael in the time of the Patriarch Abraham, give clues to the understanding of Islamic actions today. 

Gidon Ariel and Hutch engaged in a conversation about the history of the Jewish people and the formation of the state of Israel. He also mentioned that a significant number of Israel’s population has shifted from left-wing to centrist, with an increasing number leaning towards traditional and religious values. Jeff shared his perspective on the Prodigal Son parable, drawing parallels with the experience of the nation of Israel. They ended the discussion by agreeing to keep in touch regarding future meetings and plans.
