year, the holiday of Purim (of Scroll of Esther fame) takes on an added meaning.
One of the most important parts of Purim is sending gifts of food ("Mishloach Manot") to others, as mentioned in Esther
9:22 which enjoins the Jewish people to observe the days of Purim "as days of feasting and gladness, and sending portions of food to one another, and gifts to the poor." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mishloach_manot
Today, with the Hamas war raging in the south and the Hizbollah war brewing in the north, many Israelis are in relatively dire straits, and would be encouraged to receive such gifts.
And getting such a gift from a pro-Israel Christian who loves them would double the delight!
