On Sukkot, Leviticus 22:26–23:44, which sets forth the holidays throughout the year, and the sacrifices for each, is read on the first of the eight days of Sukkot. In the diaspora (outside of Israel), it is also read on the second day. This reading is also read on the second day of Passover in the diaspora.
