This coming Shabbat's Torah portion, read on Saturday, May 6th, is Emor. This week’s portion opens with laws regulating priestly behavior, working in the Mishkan (Tabernacle), and consuming sacrifices and priestly food. It describes the biblical holidays of Passover, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, and ends with a story about a blasphemer and his punishment.

Last month, Root Source was honored to present The LIST 2021 to Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center and the official Holocaust Museum of the State of Israel. We met and comforted a Holocaust survivor, Ruth Berlinger, and learned about her life and the Holocaust in general.
