Root Source has developed over the years its interest in Antisemitism and Holocaust related programs.
We started in 2018 with a declaration of repentance signed by over 1500 Christians to express comfort the Jewish people for crimes done to them. This declaration was presented to then-Speaker of the Knesset MK Yuli Edelstein by a delegation of Christian leaders.
The following year, we published The LIST: Persecution of Jews by Christians Throughout History and 40 Days of Repentance: A Companion Guide to The LIST and sponsored the Nations’ Ninth of Av events in Jerusalem and worldwide (www.9-av.com). And in 2022 we launched LightUpThe Church.org, a worldwide network of churches that honor the memory of Krastallnacht by keeping their lights on every November 9th.
Since then, we have decided to publish an annual yearbook monitoring antisemitism. The LIST 2020: Antisemitic Incidents Worldwide was published and launched in Jerusalem in August 2022.
We are now ready to publish and launch The LIST 2021.
The launch will be held on Sunday January 22, 2023 online.
This date, the Sunday before January 27, was chosen because January 27 is International Holocaust Rememberance Day. We envision launching the yearbook chronicling the previous year's incidents on the Sunday before or on January 27 each year.
This year, we will host Rabbi Ken Spiro, who will speak on the topic "Antisemitism Past and Present".
Rabbi Ken Spiro is a founding teacher at Root Source, a Senior Lecturer and Researcher for Aish HaTorah Discovery Seminars and JerusalemU and a licensed Israeli tour guide.
