Dear Root Source Students,

We had a LOT going on this week! I hope you will be able to at least click through to all of the articles and videos we are giving you, most of which can only be accessed on Root Source.

We are happy to share a lesson from Rabbi Elan Adler. He teaches about the transmission of God's Word from generation to generation, starting from Moses, Joshua and God!

The Webinar Was a Smashing Success!

Shimshon Young and Gidon Ariel hosted a FREE webinar last Thursday, and held a makeup webinar on Sunday (yesterday!) for people who were unable to attend on Thursday.

We had an unprecedented amount of people who attended these webinars! (Unprecedented for us, at least:-) Close to three hundred people! From all over the world. It was very special.

These were the first webinars Root Source has ever done! We hope to do more, and with other Root Source teachers as well.

Meet Rabbi Elan Adler

Students of Rabbi Elan Adler know what a gem he is, and even his very name hints at this!

“Elan” is a tree in Hebrew, and “Adler” is an eagle in Yiddish. Rabbi, of course, is teacher.

Mystery of the Lost Jubilee XII

Breaking Israel News continues with the series that Bob is writing about the Jubilee, sometimes (like in this installment) with Gidon co-writing the article with him.

In part 11 of this series we interviewed Rabbi Avraham Dov Ben Shor from the Sanhedrin, and asked him to tell us whether, in the opinion of the Sanhedrin, we are currently in a Jubilee year.

I think this is a wonderful lesson and reminds me that we should Never approach God with passivity or apathy but always with great awe and respect and care just as the Torah was passed down with UMISARA. Love this word!! It is so much more expressive than our English.
